Job Description
HR Assistant Manager
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Screen and shortlist applicants for initial interviews.
- Facilitate interview scheduling and feedback collection.
- Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires.
Employee Relations:
- Address employee grievances and manage disciplinary actions.
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention programs.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and maintain a positive work environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance and leave.
- Ensure employees understand their benefits and resolve any related queries.
- Assist in payroll processing and resolve related issues.
Training & Development:
- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
- Maintain records of employee training and professional development.
- Assist in the evaluation of training programs and providers.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the coordination of performance appraisal processes.
- Provide support to managers and staff during performance review cycles.
- Any other assigned ad hoc duties.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a minimum Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in Human Resources from the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge in various HR-related Acts.
- Ability to communicate in English and Swahili.
- Strong resilience, able to work under pressure.
- Independent and able to work with minimal supervision and guidance.
